BT Broadband , the largest ISP in the United Kingdom, has way over 4,000,000 broadband users. As it operates a unique partnership with Yahoo!, the customers can have free access to the BT branded Yahoo! services. These BT Yahoo! customers often have access to content that only the premium Yahoo! customers do. This is a strong calling-card for  the BT Broadband packages.

The subscribers of Yahoo! are given the choice to use the BT internet browser which allows quick and easy BT Broadband

access to the various Yahoo! services. This browser is part of the BT Home Hub software disk. It is not expected that this browser will be made compatible with Windows, as IE7 and the unique BT Yahoo! toolbar already have all the features of the BT browser.

The BT Home Hub is a wireless internet router, and is a significant departure away from the more traditional telecommunications services, and aims toward the internet. It does support VoIP Internet calls, making it quite popular.

The BT Broadband is fast, reliable and wireless.

Included in the various BT Broadband packages are choices for:

  • Broadband and Weekend Calls
  • Broadband and Anytime Calls
  • Unlimited Broadband and Anytime Calls
  • Broadband, Calls and TV

BT Broadband speed is up to 20 megabits per second – even at peak times. They aim at  providing the fastest broadband speed a phone line can physically support, up to this maximum of 20 Mb.

The BT Broadband Phone allows customers to choose between an

  • Unlimited Weekend Calling Plan
  • Unlimited Anytime Calling Plan
  • Talk & Surf Plus. The BT Broadband allows 10GB of monthly usage.

Each of these, of course, has some variations to choose from.

It’s easy to see why BT Broadband is the largest ISP in the UK!
